You
should only purchase items from this website if you have
read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These
Terms and Conditions may occasionally be updated so should
be checked whenever placing an order.
Education
Customers
Products
and services shown on this website are only available to
Education customers. Education customers include any recognised
state or independent educational establishment (e.g. schools,
colleges and universities).
Placing
Orders Online
Upon
receipt of your online order, Counterpoint MTC will contact
the Finance Officer / Bursar to verify the order and to
collect any additional information required. When we ship
your goods, an invoice will be sent to your establishment
for payment within 14 days. At our discretion, your establishment
may be required to pay for all, or a proportion of, any
goods or services in advance of any supply.
IMPORTANT: Orders placed online will not be processed until
verified by a finance representative from your school.
Placing
Orders by Post / Fax
After
selecting your products online, your school may place an
order using its standard ordering processes. When we ship
your goods, an invoice will be sent to your establishment
for payment within 14 days. At our discretion, your establishment
may be required to pay for all, or a proportion of, any
goods or services in advance of any supply.
Pricing
Please
note that prices on this site are shown excluding VAT. Prices
and availability may vary. Prices shown on the website may
change at any time without notice.
We always attempt to display and describe products on our
website accurately, however, customers should always check
manufacturers' websites to confirm details before making
a purchase.
Product
Warranty
Unless
specified otherwise, all products are supplied with their
standard 12 month manufacturer's warranty.
Delivery
Delivery
costs will be added to all orders and charged at cost. We
will always endeavour to keep these to a minimum.
Usual
shipping times as shown on our website are indicative and
cannot be guaranteed. Most orders are despatched on the
same or following working day (subject to availability).
The listing of a product on our website does not always
imply that we are currently carrying stock. Counterpoint
MTC will always endeavour to achieve any agreed delivery
date, but no liability will be accepted for delay in delivery
and no guarantee is given that goods or services will be
supplied on a given date.
Please
check all goods on receipt before signing for them. If you
have any concerns about damage to the packaging, please
write 'box damaged' on the courier's sheet. If you are unable
to check the goods immediately, please write 'unexamined'
on the courier's sheet. Any shortage or damage must be reported
in writing (email is sufficient) to ourselves within two
days of receipt.
Returns
If you
feel you need to return goods for any reason, please contact
us first, either by email (info@cmtc.co.uk) or by telephone
(01903 538844). If items do need to be returned to us, we
will send a returns form for you to complete. Once we have
received this back, we will send you a returns tracking
number and agree with you the method of shipment.
Limitation
of Liability
Counterpoint
MTC, its directors and employees may not be held responsible
or liable for any consequential or other indirect damages
that result from the information contained on this site.
In addition, Counterpoint MTC, its directors and employees
may not be held responsible or liable for any failure in
the performance of equipment, or for the late delivery of
goods or services.
Under
no circumstances shall our liability exceed the cost of
goods or services supplied.
Law
All
transactions with Counterpoint MTC are subject to UK and
European law.
These
terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
