As recordings are immediately stored against the appropriate student(s) record card(s) they are instantly available as a resource for monitoring progress and assisting student learning. eSAAMS is ideal for primary, secondary, college and further education.
Student Records
Within eSAAMS every student has their own record card with space for basic details, notes and a photo. Student details can be imported into eSAAMS from records in your school database or information can be entered manually.
Classes
Students are grouped in their respective classes. At the beginning of a lesson simply load your next class. The main eSAAMS window shows your classroom layout with students seated at corresponding desks.
Audio/Video Recording
High quality audio and video recordings of students' completed and 'in progress' work can be made directly into eSAAMS from various sources including microphones, webcams or digital camcorders.
The Player
Once audio and video recordings have been made they are immediately available for playback. Since recordings are organised against student records historical work pieces are easily selected for playback.
Extended Video Features
From within the large player various extended video playback options are available including Zoom (increase size of video play image), Speed (slow motion or accelerated playback), Range (playback just a section of a clip) and Looping (all or sections of a clip).
Marking Work Pieces
When recording or importing a work piece each one has it’s own record card. Here you can give the work piece a title, choose one of your marking schemes and mark the work, associate it with a core skill area, add comments and highlight links to the national curriculum.
Marking Schemes
eSAAMS provides a very flexible intuitive tool for creating marking schemes.
Reviewing Work Pieces
The main eSAAMS window shows a classroom layout with students seated at corresponding desks. This intuitive interface allows individuals to be quickly selected to review their work piece history.
Electronic Registration
eSAAMS includes an electronic registration module allowing teachers to quickly take the register during a lesson.
Reporting
eSAAMS provides student reports for work pieces and registration. These can be exported to in various formats for further analysis or for importing into another database.
